nulliche (null-eesh) — a portmanteau of null and niche. It is, depending on your disposition, a research journal, a technical diary, or an exercise in digital anthropology undertaken by someone who should probably be doing something more profitable with their time.

The Journal

This publication exists because most infosec writing is either marketing copy for venture-backed platforms or forum posts that evaporate within a fiscal quarter. What remains, we hope, is something closer to a record: how systems were broken, why it mattered, and what it felt like to be there.

Every article is written by hand. No language models were consulted, prompted, or tolerated in the production of this work. The prose is flawed because the author is flawed, and that is precisely the point.

The Author

A security researcher with interests in malware analysis, reverse engineering, signal theory, exploit development, and the social consequences of technological architecture. You can find source code, projects, and additional work at the git forge.

This journal is a side effect of a research practice. It is not monetised. It has no analytics, no tracking, and no particular ambition beyond being read by the right people at the wrong hours.
